1. Who has agreed to run the Mystery Book Club for Central?
I went to the HPL Wiki > Conducted a search for “Mystery Club” using Search feature found on left of the screen > Results show two topics, one of which is called BookClubSignUp. There, you will see the list of clubs and their respective facilitators. Marcia Chapman appears to have agreed to run the Mystery Book Club.
2. Where can you learn information about working with angry customers and filling out incident reports?
I went to the HPL Wiki > I clicked on Index (by accident) and found that there is an alphabetical listing of topics, including AngryCustomer and IncidentReport.
3. When are customers referred to the collection agency (UMS)? What is the full company name for UMS?
I went to the HPL Wiki > I clicked on Index and scrolled down to CollectionUMS > There, it explains (among other things) the following: When fines exceed $25.00, the account will be turned over to Unique Management Services (UMS), a collection agency that specializes in service to libraries.
4. Where do I find resources highlighted in eSTAR trainings?
I went to the HPL Wiki > I clicked on Index and scrolled down to ESTAR. There, I found a list of resources for all of the previous eStar training topics.
5. Where can I get a copy of the World Languages Collection plan?
I went to the HPL Wiki > I clicked on Index and scrolled down to WorldLanguagesCollectionPlan.
6. Where in the world is (do I find) Mike Van Campen?
One of the places you can find Mike Van Campen, at least in the web world, is the Central Chief’s Blog, http://www.cenchief.blogspot.com/
1. I clicked on wiki and blogs to look for this one and decided on wiki. typed in mystery to search and found book sign up and decided this must be it. There I found that there are many book clubs including mystery - Marcia Chapman.
2. Using wiki again using index and scrolling down found the topic angry/customer etc. There you can find the report.
3. Keeping with wiki and the index you can find collection/ums, which Unique Management Service.
4. I looked into eStar topics and thought I find what I was looking for there.
5. This is really an unfair question for the others, simply
because I created all of the purchase orders for the World Languages Collection Standing Orders from Arabic through Urdu.
6. Mike Van Campen can be found through the Blog and the chief.
